The LAMY AL-Star is the Safari design made in colored anodized aluminum. It keeps the shape writers know, with a transparent molded grip and a sprung metal clip, and adds a satin metal finish and a little more weight in the hand. Many of our customers reach for the metal pen once they hold both.
The polished steel nib writes smoothly from the first line. Medium is a generous, forgiving everyday width, and the nib can be swapped later for another width.
Filling
Takes LAMY T10 cartridges, and one blue cartridge comes with the pen. To fill from a bottle, add a LAMY Z28 converter.
